Initial intake forms, history taking, orthopedic, neurological, range of motion, palpation, observation and possible referral out for other vital special tests when necessary. When a diagnosis has been determined, full treatment can commence once all red flags have been ruled out.

What to expect from us...
At Saber Chiropractic your time will be well spent as I listen to what you are feeling and help ease your pain with adjustments and physiotherapies. I have experience with a variety of conditions, head to toe and have treated patients ranging in age from 1 year old to 100 years old, athletes, tech workers, pregnant, post surgery and many more. I will explain the various techniques as I work with you and teach you different rehab exercises and stretches that can be used at home to help with recurring pain and prevent problems that many of us face with aging, lack of activity or overuse.
Besides adjustments of the spine, I also work on shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles and feet. Depending on what is needed I may include heat and electrical muscle stimulation, cupping, soft tissue mobilization, Y-Strap, Maxi Pro Thumper massager, spinal traction, posture training and more, depending on what is needed to help your present state.
The appointments can be a quick few minutes if you only need an adjustment of the joints but I prefer to give you the works (about 30 minutes) each time you visit and that will include all the treatments I recommend to help you feel your best.

This degree was essential in learning details about the human body that covered general health, community health and public health. A key topic was functions of the body at rest and the physiological changes occurring during exercise. A wide variety of topics included; Pharmacology, microbiology, physiology, anatomy, psycho-social aspects of playing sports, body mass index measurements, bio-mechanics of movement, pressures upon the body during physically stressful activity, plus the chemistry and biology of bodily functions during exercise. It was rewarding to also be involved in community outreach exercise programs to help the under-served and under-privileged in San Luis Obispo county.

Dr. Saber knows all the latest and greatest techniques. I had to go to Urgent care and found I had an inflamed sciatic nerve. So much pain, couldn't walk, sit, lay down, almost fell. Hobbled out of Urgent Care in Pismo Beach and went next door to Dr. Saber. He bent, twisted, massaged, pulled me and even a few manipulations. I walked out with all most 90% pain free. Next day hardly any pain, I am going back to ensure this won't happen again. He was knowledgeable, compassionate, understanding and a welcome hands on Doctor (rare these days).
