Your Questions Answered
What conditions do you treat?
Scoliosis, Sciatica, Whiplash, Pregnancy related pain, Post Surgery, TMJ Dysfunction, Torticollis, Colic, Tension Headaches, Vertigo, Radiating pain&numbness, Postural Syndrome, Plantar Fasciitis, Dupuytrens, Tennis&Golfers elbow, Ehlers Danlos, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Tendonitis, Bursitis, Arthritis, Muscle Spasm, Impingement, Sprain/Strain, Inflammation and Joint Fixation.
What types of health insurance do you accept?
Our office has made a few important changes that we want you to be aware of. As of January 1st, 2022 we went out of network with American Specialty Health, Blue Cross, Blue Shield HMO, Aetna, Cigna HealthNet, Kaiser, PhysMetrics and United Health Care plans. You can definitely continue to receive your care at our office. With some insurance plans, there really is very little difference between in and out of network benefits. If your insurance has out of network benefits we will collect at the time of service and bill out of network for your reimbursement.
Unfortunately, being a participating provider for these insurance plans is becoming harder for us due to the administrative costs of getting authorizations and proving medical necessity. We want to keep our high standard of care for our patients and are unwilling to compromise or cut corners just because of insurance company’s shortcomings.
Do I need a Doctor’s referral?
You do not need a referral to see a Doctor of Chiropractor (D.C.). Dr. Darian Saber D.C. has the training to perform a thorough examination, rule out red flags for Chiropractic treatment and review imaging or diagnostic tests to diagnose and treat conditions relating to the nerves, muscles, bones and joints. Any other conditions outside of this scope will be immediately referred to the correct professional to help you heal from your current condition or ailment.
